Ok, I will never agian say what next!!!

Waiting for us at home was a polite letter from the IRS telling us we had goofed two years ago and owe them more, alot more!!! We were just going to be able to put some away for the move/down payment when this came up. I expect to be paying it until next years tax return at whihc time it will eat up the refund we have been planning to help with the before mentioned move/down payment.

    Double check that the IRS is right and that the letter is a fact finding mission. In 1989, I got a polite letter from them during grad school, they received an equally polite letter from me that my taxes were correct with supporting documentation, and I received back a polite letter accepting my documentation.

    If the IRS is right, they're right, but don't assume it and pay without checking.
